The Wedding Ring is a craftable item used to propose marriage in a Multiplayer game. The recipe can be purchased from the Traveling Cart for 500g.
To propose marriage to another player, the ring must be given to the player, who has the option to accept or refuse it. If accepted, the two players become engaged. As with villager marriage, the wedding ceremony will normally take place in 3 days. After engagement is accepted, the Wedding Ring cannot be used to marry again.
The Wedding Ring can be equipped like other rings, but has no added bonus. It cannot be gifted to a villager.
Like other rings, the Wedding Ring can be sold to the Adventurer's Guild.
Achievements
In a Multiplayer game, the Wedding Ring must be crafted to earn the Craft Master achievement ("Craft every item"). In a single-player game, the recipe cannot be purchased, and the player is not required to craft the Wedding Ring to earn the Craft Master achievement.
