The Omni Geode is a Mineral deposit found primarily by breaking rocks in the Mines. It can be broken open at the Blacksmith for data-sort-value="25">25g or placed in a Geode Crusher to obtain the items inside. Omni Geodes can contain minerals, artifacts, ores, or basic resources. They can also be traded to the Desert Trader for a variety of items.

Note: Neither daily luck nor luck buffs affect the contents of an Omni Geode.

Locations

• Rocks in the Mines (Floors 21+) or Skull Cavern.
• Omni Geode Nodes in the Volcano Dungeon.
• Crates and barrels in the Mines (Floors 80+), Skull Cavern, or Volcano Dungeon.
• Dirt patches in the Mines or Skull Cavern.
• Carbon Ghost drop (99% chance).
• Haunted Skull drop (1.3% chance, only if all Vault Bundles are not complete).
• Wilderness Golem and Iridium Golem drop (5% chance, after reaching Combat Level 5).
• Panning in any area.
• Artifact Spots on Ginger Island.
• 1, 3, or 10 Omni Geodes can be produced by an Octopus Fish Pond when the population reaches 9.
• Up to 3 can be purchased from the Oasis on Wednesdays for data-sort-value="500">500g each.
• One can be purchased from Krobus' shop on Tuesdays for data-sort-value="300">300g.
• 5 Omni Geodes are the reward for completing the Geologist's Bundle in the Boiler Room.
• 3 Omni Geodes are one of the prizes from the Trout Derby.
• 8 Omni Geodes are the 18th prize from the Prize Machine.
• 5 or 10 Omni Geodes can be obtained from Skull Cavern treasure rooms.
• 2-4 Omni Geodes may occasionally be found in Supply Crates on the Beach Farm if the player upgraded the Farmhouse at least once.
• Crane Game in the Movie Theater lobby, during any season.
• The Garbage Can outside of the Museum.
• A fallen meteorite on the Farm will drop 2 Omni Geodes when mined.

Omni Geode Contents

It is impossible for the player to receive a Prismatic Shard before cracking at least 15 Omni Geodes. Therefore, the probability of receiving a Prismatic Shard is 0 and receiving any minerals or artifacts is 1/88 if the player has not yet cracked 15 Omni Geodes. The probabilities shown below reflect the probabibility after cracking at least 15 Omni Geodes.

Geode Minerals

An Omni Geode can contain any of the 41 Geode Minerals in the game. Each has a 31/2750 chance to appear.

Resources

Coal, copper ore, iron ore, and gold ore will be obtained in the following amounts: 30% for 1, 30% for 3, 30% for 5, 9% for 10, and 1% for 20. Stone has a 50% chance to use those values and a 50% chance to give only 1. Iridium Ore has a 30% chance for 1, 30% for 2, 30% for 3, 9% for 6, and 1% for 11. Only 1 clay can be obtained from a single geode.

Bundles

Omni Geode is not used in any bundles.

Tailoring

Omni Geode can be used in the spool of the Sewing Machine to create the Omni Shirt. It can be used as a gray dye when used in the spool of the Sewing Machine with a dyeable clothing item in the feed.

Quests

• 2-3 Omni Geodes may be requested by Octopus, Rainbow Trout, Spook Fish, Sturgeon, or Super Cucumber in a Fish Pond quest to increase the capacity of the pond from 5 to 7.
• Marlon may request the player to obtain 12 Omni Geodes in the "Treasure Hunt" quest during the Desert Festival.

Trading

• 5 Omni Geodes can be traded to the Desert Trader for 1 Artifact Trove.
• 3 Omni Geodes can be traded to the Desert Trader for 1 Warp Totem: Desert.
• 50 Omni Geodes can be traded to the Desert Trader for 1 Green Turban.
• 1 Omni Geode can be traded to the Desert Trader for 3 Hay on Mondays.
• 333 Omni Geodes can be traded to the Desert Trader for 1 Magic Turban on even-numbered days.
• 333 Omni Geodes can be traded to the Desert Trader for 1 Magic Cowboy Hat on odd-numbered days.
