Jewels Of The Sea is a power book that can be obtained from Fishing Treasure Chests. The chance for a treasure chest to contain the book starts at 2% and increases by 0.1% for each treasure chest opened until it is obtained. Then the chance stays at 2.1% permanently.[1]
It can also be purchased from the Bookseller for 20,000g starting in Year 3.
The first reading grants the player a power that makes all fishing treasure chests have a 25% chance to yield Roe.[1] The type of roe obtained is the same as the fish that was caught. Once read, it can be found in the Player's menu on the Special Items & Powers tab. Subsequent readings give the player 100 Fishing XP.
The Bookseller trades either 3 Cave Jelly, 3 River Jelly, or 3 Sea Jelly for 1 Jewels Of The Sea each provided the player has already obtained the power from this book.

Trivia
- The power from this book can result in the player receiving types of roe which are otherwise unobtainable, namely Legendary Fish, Legendary Fish II, Squid, and Midnight Squid roes.
- It is also important to mention that since Legendary Fish and Legendary Fish II can only be caught once per save file, or per player save in Multiplayer, the roe associated with them also can only be obtained once per save file per Legendary Fish.
