“ | “Being wealthy and popular throughout high school has made Haley a little conceited and self-centered. She has a tendency to judge people for superficial reasons. But is it too late for her to discover a deeper meaning to life? Is there a fun, open-minded young woman hidden within that candy-coated shell?” |
— Dev Update #12 |

Relationships
Haley lives with her sister Emily, and together they and care for their parents home, who have been traveling the world for the past two years.
Gifts
Gifts are the only way to increase hearts in a peer to peer relationship. Gifts on birthdays have the greatest effect. Best gifts have the greatest effect outside of birthdays. Good gifts are slightly worse than best gifts, but still increase hearts. Bad gifts have no positive or negative effect on hearts. Worst gifts will have a slightly negative effect on hearts.
When you have sufficient hearts with Haley and give her the bouquet of flowers, she accepts them with a blush and replies, "...!! I'll accept this. Thank you."

Heart Events
Two Hearts
Haley's two-heart event occurs when the Player Character enters Haley and Emily's house at 2 Willow Lane in the AM. Haley and Emily are having a fight over cleaning the couch cushions that the player interrupts. Haley is upset that Emily is refusing to clean the cushions this week when Haley had cleaned them in the previous week. Emily thinks Haley is being childish. The player is tasked with resolving the conflict. There are three choices:
Tell Haley to do the chore. Haley angrily storms off and Emily cleans the cushions.
Suggest that the cushions be Haley's only weekly assigned chore. Both agree, although Haley isn't ecstatic about it.
Ask Emily to take the high road and perform the chore. Haley becomes upset that the player implies she is being childish. Emily cleans the cushions.
There is no net relationship gain or loss from any choice.
Four Hearts
When you enter her house you get a cut scene of her struggling to open a jar. She asks you to open the jar for her. After opening the jar, Haley tells the player that the player is stronger than they look.
Notable: Usually, the next day, she will tell the player that she got a tool to open jars for her.
Six Hearts
When you visit her at The Beach, you'll get a cut scene where Haley talks about her great-grandmother's bracelet that she's just lost and the player tries finding it for her. The bracelet is located to the right of Elliott's Cabin on the beach behind a shrub. Once turning in the bracelet, Haley hugs the player, thanking them and telling them she won't forget what they've done.
Eight Hearts
When you visit her outside Marnie's Ranch, you get a cut scene of her taking photos of you and her with the cows on the ranch
Ten Hearts
Upon entering Haley's house when she is present, you get a cut scene where she invites you into her dark room (for developing photos). After commenting on the quality of her dark room, you are given the option to either help her decorate, make an excuse and leave, or try to kiss her.
Choosing 'Help decorate' will irritate Haley, where she comments on how ignorant you are.
Choosing 'Make an excuse and leave' will cause the player to successfully leave, and Haley comments on how dense the player is after exiting.
Choosing 'try to kiss her' will be successful, and during the kiss she tells the player that she has "waited so long for that", and turns off the lights.
Marriage
Timeline
Haley's look evolved over the years the game was in development. Here's a timeline showing how ConcernedApe's art and Haley's style changed over the years before the game was launched.
