Foraging is the a process of gathering non-farmed resources from the world. There are a variety of crops which grow wild seasonally and can be gathered. These crops can be used as gifts, for cooking and in bundles (each season has a community center bundle).
Chopping wood with your axe also counts as foraging, and can increase player foraging skill.
Foraging Skill
Foraging skill includes both gathered foraged goods, and wood from trees chopped with an axe tool. Each level adds +1 axe proficiency.
