Stardew Valley: The Board Game is a cooperative board game centered around Stardew Valley for 1 to 4 players, ages 13 and up. The main objectives are to fulfill Grandpa's goals and restore the Community Center before the end of the year, which can be accomplished by growing crops, raising animals, expanding the farm, and collecting resources. ConcernedApe had been working with board game designer Cole Medeiros for more than two and a half years to develop a board game that captures the essence of Stardew Valley.

Grandpa's Goals
Of the eight Grandpa's Goal cards, four are randomly drawn from the deck to be completed by the end of the game. The cards are revealed at the start of the game. The goals include:

*have 10 Gold per player.

*reach the bottom of the Mine (level 12).

*donate 2 items to the Museum per player (Artifacts or Minerals).

*have 2 animals per player.

*have 3 friends per player.

*catch Legendary Fish equal to the number of players.

*own Buildings equal to the number of players.

*upgrade your Starting Tools a total of two times per player.

Community Center Bundles
To restore the Community Center, there are six Bundles that are to be completed by the end of the game, one Bundle for each of the Community Center room. There are a total of 26 Bundle cards in all six rooms and they start out hidden. Revealing one later in the game and donating the listed resources to it completes a Bundle. The rooms include:

*the Crafts Room (forageables and materials).

*the Pantry (crops or animal products).

*the Fish Tank (fishes).

*the Bulletin Board (goods as well as heart tokens).

*the Vault (donations of gold).

*the Boiler Room (resources from the Mine).
