Rock Crabs are an enemy found in The Mines.
Behavior
They disguise themselves as stones, sometimes surprising the player. When immobile they are invulnerable to attack.
Strategy
Striking a crab with a pickaxe will knock the crab back and cause them to flee. Attacking in rapid succession will allow the player to kill the crab before it hides and becomes invulnerable to attack. Alternatively, one can bomb the crab to remove its stone protection:
To identify a crab, look for rocks without shadows.
