Golden Walnuts & Friendship
About how to start friendship with Leo, the page says: "This is done by giving 10 Golden Walnuts to the first parrot outside by the turtle."
Just tested it in-game, giving golden walnuts to parrots is not necessary. To make friends with Leo, players simply need to collect a total of 10 golden walnuts, then enter Leo's hut to trigger the cutscene in which Leo tells the player his name.
